A quick note of hello and another ‘test’ of this here app. I had two posts written, posted (or so I thought) but they’ve been lost to the ether somehow.
One post was about our visit to the Stony Heads (aka, Mt Rushmore)
This is a place I have real mixed feelings about. Yes, it is a feat of great engineering and sculpting. But it’s on stolen land (the Supreme Court even said so). I found it all a bit creepy. Also they didn’t allow dogs.
The next post was about how we’ve finally landed here in Taos after four days of traveling, with a stop or two along the way. It’s been marvelous.
Let’s see if this post uploads and I’ll get more out to you fine readers after we settle in.
